Earth Hour Save the Earth ; Let's turn off the lights altogether.
With an environmental campaign hosted by the World Natural Fund, the first event has been held every year on the last Saturday of March since it began in Sydney, Australia in 2007. It is a symbolic conservation campaign that recalls the meaning of climate change by extinguishing an hour of lights in question and is also widely known for the participation of famous landmarks around the world. This year, like any other year, the "Us Hour" campaign to turn off all lights for the Earth took place around the world for an hour on Friday evening.

The WWF said Friday that it held the world's largest conservation campaign "Earth Hour" from 8:30 p.m., Saturday. WWF Korea explained that all events related to the virus were held online this year due to the prolonged coronavirus outbreak.
The one-hour Earth Hour, which runs from 8:30 p.m. on the last Saturday of March each year, has involved major landmarks including the Empire State Building in New York, the Eiffel Tower in Paris and Gwanghwamun in Seoul, with private companies and general families steadily increasing their participation.
WWF started the Earth Hour event in 2007 with the intention of WW F Australia to think about the climate crisis. At the time, the first Earth Hour in Australia was held successfully with 2.2 million Sydney citizens participating. Currently, it has become the world's largest conservation campaign with 18,000 landmarks and citizens participating in 7,000 cities in 188 countries. WWF's Korean branch has been hosting the annual Earth Hour since 2014.
"Every moment is Earth Hour for me," said Greta Thunburg, a 17-year-old Swedish environmental activist who joined the Earth Hour campaign. "It's not easy for many people to gather in public places to stop the spread of the coronavirus, but I expect everyone to unite in the wake of the Earth Hour." "The Earth Hour will allow us to renew our global commitment to the planet," he said. "We hope that our one voice will be delivered online safely and responsibly, leading to the practice of more people."

Nature has amazing resilience to recover on its own. We are the first generation to realize that humans are destroying nature, and the last generation to recover it.
Humans and nature can overcome the climate crisis if more people pay more attention and act more actively.
I also turned off all the lights in the house for an hour, lit candles for an hour, and talked with my parents in the living room. I participated in the Earth Hour and received another gift than saving the Earth and saving electricity. It was time to talk with the family. Preparing for the college entrance exam and living a busy life, there was not enough family conversation, and we talked for an hour with parents who could not see each other except for dinner, and we talked about things that we couldn't say. In this heat of the year, a lot of people were suffering from corona on the one hand, but on the other, they all I and my friends are all busy studying, but I promised to make concessions for the Earth about an hour a year and turned off all the lights in the house today. Let's cherish and love the beautiful nature God has given us.
Thank you for participating in Earth Hour on March 28. Those who couldn't make it today are fine. If you think about nature again and cherish it, Earth Hour will be back on the last Saturday of March next year. Then let's turn off the lights that use electricity altogether!
