Excessive Packaging (ECOYA) And the current situation in Korea
These days, we do self-quarantine and do a lot of internet shopping instead of going outside. Use apps like Amazon, eBay, Taobao, and Coupang to buy and ship things home. Of course, this is a really good alternative. Internet shopping, which has the advantage of living in a global disaster such as a disaster movie, not meeting people as much as possible, not having a conversation, and being able to get necessary things so easily, has saved many people.
But if the goods are delivered to my house like this, the goods come in the box. When you open the box, there is a supplement. Of course, I understand. I put it in to deliver the goods safely, but sometimes I think it's too much.
I once delivered Clam chowder soup from the United States. But each of the five came from different boxes with supplements that were at least five times larger than their own size. In China, they ordered 10 flower pots (really small ones). It was delivered to our school in huge styrofoam. I thought I was going to die because of the styrofoam powder. These days, especially in Korea, my family and I use an app called Coupang. Even if you order an egg, it doesn't break at all and it's delivered to a hard box. Inside the box is coated with non-conducting heat material, and it is delivered in front of the house at 6 a.m. the next day after ordering with five ice packs. Of course, the ice pack is made of pure water, so I can throw it away, but I can't seem to recycle the box. (Some boxes made my cat's house. There were so many houses, so I made a castle and built a villa. The house is wider and more than me. :D )

But in conclusion, there is nothing we can do. We can't go out at this point, and we have to rely on the Internet and online for everything. It would be nice if we could handle this kind of garbage, but there's nothing we can do right now. These days I'm just so grateful to those who deliver our packages and to the medical staff who work hard for our health.
The conclusion is so strange today. But so many courier companies and medical staff's efforts have minimized people's movements, and Korea has now finally regained peace. There have been no confirmed cases in the past week, and many have been treated. I can't help but care about the fact that my neighbors are sick and lonely rather than environmental pollution right now. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
+ A few days ago, in Itaewon, Korea (in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, it is called Itaewon. It is a place where there are so many foreigners and embassies are gathered around it. And I live in that very neighborhood.) There's another confirmed case coming out of the gay club. I'm really angry. Why do you go dancing in this situation? After the incident, medical workers sacrificed themselves and treated people, unable to take off their gloves and meet their families. But what are you doing? They are not announcing their movements because they fear they will be a problem with their lives and even hiding what they have been there. It is said that about 7,000 people visited the club that day. About 60 people have already been confirmed, and one in three visitors is said to be an asymptotic infection. What the hell is going on? Students can't even go to school. Originally, the school started on May 13, but it is likely that the school will be delayed again because of these bastards.
